Open source weather app

One weather app.
Multiple sources.
The real answer.

Most weather apps give you one provider's guess. weNow combines multiple sources into a single ensemble forecast โ€” more accurate than any one alone. No ads. No tracking. Just weather.

Why one source isn't enough

Every weather API has blind spots. weNow eliminates them.

1

We query 4+ providers

Your location is sent to multiple independent weather APIs at once. Each returns its own forecast.

2

We build an ensemble

Instead of trusting one source, we combine all responses into an ensemble forecast. Outliers get filtered out automatically.

3

You get the real answer

One clean temperature, one honest forecast. Plus a confidence indicator showing how much the sources agree.

No tracking. Period.

No analytics, no ad SDKs, no telemetry. Your location is processed per-request and never stored on our servers. We hash IPs for rate limiting and auto-delete after 7 days.

Android widgets

Three home screen widget sizes (2x2, 4x2, 4x3) that update every 30 minutes with ensemble weather data. Configurable per-widget locations.

50 languages

Fully translated interface in 50 languages. The app auto-detects your device language and adapts instantly.

Web + Android

Use it in your browser or install the Android app. Same experience, same data, your choice of platform.

Source confidence

See how much weather providers agree with each other. High agreement = high confidence in the forecast.

Open & transparent

We tell you exactly what data we collect (almost nothing), which APIs we use, and how the ensemble works. No black boxes.
